Magical Tokens is a personal project developed to enhance the experience of playing Magic: The Gathering. These custom-designed cards serve as "tokens," representing items and creatures that do not exist within the main deck but are essential in gameplay. The streamlined, simplified design improves visibility, especially during multiplayer sessions with complex board states where clarity is key. To make these resources widely accessible, I released the printable files free of charge, while offering a Patreon account for players interested in custom token designs tailored to their specific game needs.

Bubbl was my senior thesis project where we developed a mock product, brand and advertisement campaign. Bubbl is an online educational platform designed to help students understand financial concepts when they first become relevant in their lives. Life’s expenses can be substantial, yet few young people truly grasp how impactful they can be. By equipping individuals early on, we aim to create more financial opportunities for them down the line. Given the challenges of altering school curricula, Bubbl serves as an alternative to direct classroom instruction in personal finance. By engaging students with vibrant visuals and leveraging the technology they interact with daily, Bubbl enhances both the speed and depth of financial education. This accessible platform teaches essential skills in budgeting, investing, financial planning, and more, all in a format that resonates with the next generation. The name “Bubbl” evokes the concept of an economic bubble—a cycle of market expansion and contraction, representing the potential for both substantial gains and losses in wealth.

My Typography III project began with designing a 58-page exhibition gallery catalog, featuring images from renowned designers Kelli Anderson and Vince Frost. I was responsible for the introduction and the spread layout design. The book was meticulously hand-bound. Below is a 30-page sample: Key project themes include: typography, book design, bold color, website design, student work, and vector branding. The second component of this project involved creating promotional materials for the fictional gallery. The exhibition poster draws heavily on Kelli Anderson’s pattern-making style, with bold colors and striking design elements. Lastly, I developed a website for the gallery using HTML and CSS. The site includes a hero section viewable on both desktop and mobile, featuring brief information about the artists and interactive links to the University of Massachusetts Lowell website.
